One connection holds every string
A kite flies because one hand holds the string. At home, that hand is your router: LetKite runs there and reaches the devices on your network, so each device does not need an app, an account or a port of its own.
The router connects out to LetKite's managed service. Nothing in the home is exposed to the internet, and nothing needs port forwarding.
What you can ask for
Lights and scenes
“Turn off the lights downstairs.” LetKite works through Home Assistant, so the devices you already set up there are within reach.
Storage and backups
“Did last night's NAS backup finish?” Check jobs, free space and disk health without opening the NAS dashboard.
Cameras and security
“Is the front-door camera recording?” Look in on cameras and alarms; anything that changes security settings asks you first.
The family PC
“Why is the study PC so slow?” Find what is using the disk or memory, install updates and clean up, with your approval.
You stay in charge
Home devices hold private things. LetKite is built so that convenience never means giving an AI the run of the house.
Nothing exposed
Devices stay on your home network. The router makes the only connection, outbound, to LetKite.
Sensitive steps ask first
Unlocking, deleting files or changing security settings sends an approval request to your phone before anything happens.
Folder-level limits
